The Masked Singer: Season Five is slowly winding down!

This week, the Spicy Six (Black Swan, Chameleon, Piglet, Robopine, the Russian Dolls, and the Yeti) competed for five spots in the Quarterfinals. Which performers cemented their places as potential finalists? Who was forced to unmask?

Meanwhile, did we get closer to learning Cluedle-Doo’s true identity? Did the panelists (Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg) correctly deduce the eliminated performer? Read on to find out!

After Nick Cannon made his entrance and introduced the panel, he announced that tonight there was a guest panelist. He revealed that Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress-singer Chrissy Metz would be joining the party. Ken immediately tried to throw a This is Us related joke, but it fell flat, and Nick ordered the actor to sit down.

The Yeti is the last Season Five Wild Card left standing! Tonight, he revealed that he is a “family Yeti.” There was also a blue pacifier in the pre-performance package. Tonight, he performed “It Takes Two,” and I thought it was Chris Brown. Nicole called the performance “dope,” and Nick revealed that this week’s clue came from The Masked Singer Mind Reader. The Yeti had corn on the cob on his mind. Ken guessed Vin Diesel and Chrissy thought Miguel.

Robopine was the second performer of the night. There were carnival games behind him, and he revealed that he went to a magical theme park. He also told the audience that he did a theme park ride with a dearly departed friend. Tonight, he sang Boyz II Men’s “Water Runs Dry,” and it was an emotional performance. Based on the clues along with the Internet’s deductions, I believe that Robopine is actor-singer Tyrese. Inside the Masked Singer Mind Reader was a light bulb, and Robopine revealed that he was “addicted to creativity.” Jenny thought it was Usher, while Nicole hit it on the head with Tyrese.

Piglet is one of my favorites this season, and tonight, he performed Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds.” Ever since his first appearance, I knew that Piglet was singer Nick Lachey, and tonight, he gave me the chills when he sang the pop-rock classic. As Piglet went behind the Masked Singer Mind Reader…
